Trip To The Auckland Botanic Gardens

Today the whole Ruapotaka School went on a trip to the Auckland Botanic Gardens. When we got to the Auckland Botanic Gardens, all the classes got spilt up with supervises. All the Gardens were so Amazing and I could smell the freshness of it. Also my favorite one was the Urban Trees, that look beautiful. We were so Exhausted too.

About 160 firefighters have climbed the Sky Tower in Auckland to honor their New York counterparts who died in the September 11 terror attacks. Today marks the 15th anniversary of the attacks, and New Zealand is one of the first countries to pay tribute. Firefighters traveled from around New Zealand to climb the Sky Tower’s 1100 steps, many of them wearing their full uniforms. The American flag at the US Embassy and Consulate in Wellington has been lowered in remembrance today.

Adams wins silver at Rio Games

Shot Put super star Valarie Adams has won silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Michelle Carter from USA won the final with 20.63m throw which was too good for Adams. Carter blew away the competition with her final throw after trailing Adams for the entire competition. Plus Anita Morton from Hungary came third.

Real sized Noah’s Ark

A christian organisation in US state of Kentucky has built a life sized recreating of Noah's Ark. It took six years to build the Ark as the construction had trouble with funding. Also the Ark was completed only after $92 million of local bonds and was issued to help.         

during Sunday Evening

On Sunday evening my brothers,sisters and I went outside  to play boxing and volleyball. I felt a little bored so I went inside and  put a movie on the t.v.  My mum came along and asked me

" Where are your brothers and sisters?"

I said " Mum! I'm hiding can you keep it down please?" .My mum said

" OK"

Looking forward to Maths

I am looking forward to maths because I enjoy doing it. I will try my best so I can be better than before. Maths is the only thing that I feel I am good at.I am good at times tables ,addition, subtraction. Soon I'll be even better.

Today we went to Pt England. When we got there we went inside and saw a lot of chairs while we were sitting down.Then the lights went off it was starting. Kids came on the stage and danced and then we saw Cindy. The show was very funny.

Myron Simpson

Today Myron Simpson came to our school to show his bike and gears. We were amazed that his bike fifty thousand dollars. Some of his bike parts cost a lot so his team and family helped pay it. Myron’s fastest bike racing was 110.If he was going to fast there the school and he got caught  from the police he will bay the police $700.he was riding the bike when he was 3 and he won a silver medal and  he raised for new zealand.At was fun!!!.
